SatixFy’s Electronically Steered In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) Terminal
The state-of-the-art Onyx IFC satellite aero terminal is based on SatixFy’s Electronically Steerable Antenna Array (ESA), featuring the first-of-its- kind Digital Beam-Forming ASIC developed in-house.
Onyx offers superior performance and reduced SWAP (Size, Weight and Power) and significantly lower costs compared to existing solutions, delivering highly reliable broadband IFC. This all-in-one Aero terminal, which includes an embedded SDR modem based on SatixFy’s own designed ASIC, is fully electronic, with no moving parts, ensuring the highest reliability and minimal maintenance.
The Onyx aero terminal is designed for both commercial airlines operating single-aisle aircraft and business jets, VVIP and government platforms. By providing broadband connectivity through multi-orbit satellites, it meets the current and future communication requirements of passengers with best-in-class experience.
